Healthy food access should not depend on a ZIP code. Clean air should not be a privilege. Neighborhood institutions should have the resources to serve families. And public infrastructure should actually work. Nina’s record connects these basic truths into a clear agenda for stronger communities.

She helped secure $500,000 to expand Philly Food Bucks, giving families more purchasing power at farmers markets across the city. She supported Masjidullah with $150,000 for essential renovations, recognizing that sacred spaces are also service spaces, learning spaces, and anchors of community life. She has fought for school funding, advocated for Lankenau and other schools with proven track records, and pushed for food and nutrition security as a public health issue.

Nina’s EV and environmental record adds another layer: she does not treat climate policy as a slogan. She focuses on whether infrastructure is reliable, safe, equitable, and built by skilled workers. A charger that does not work is not infrastructure. A clean-air policy that does not reach neighborhoods is not equity.
